American Apparel’s racy ad campaigns have again fallen afoul of the U.K.’s Advertising Standards Authority. The ASA found in a ruling set to be published today that eight advertising images that appeared on American Apparel’s Web site in October breached the authority’s codes covering responsible advertising and harm and offense, and ruled that the adverts must not appear again in the U.K. in their current form. I love these that criticise the US, its time they learned that people can be so much more equal, happy and prosperous without cruel incentives or risks or capital infecting them and their relationships with other human beings.

It is done. When I learned how much of a waste of root space the succulent shoe organizer was, I knew I’d do herbs instead. This 24-pouch organizer now contains red clover, sweet clover, alfalfa, phacelia, feverfew, yarrow, Tibetan sage, garden sage, peppermint, Greek oregano, rue, lemon balm, bergamot, English thyme and calendula.
